YEF SCHOOL CONSULTANCY

 

Autumn Term Consultancy Meetings:

  • Time slots for the autumn term are available throughout September, October and November 2024 and are bookable via Eventbrite on a first come first served basis. Please book a slot for your school with your assigned consultant:

 Network Consultancy Meetings: 

  • These 2hr meetings will enable staff from YEF intervention schools to meet with staff in other YEF project schools to reflect on how implementation is going so far. There will be an opportunity to share examples of good practice and discuss any challenges in small groups. The sessions will be faciliated by our team of experienced educational consultants. 

The network sessions are not compulsory and are in addition to the individual termly meetings.

Please note, a minum of 3 schools need to attend for the meetings to go ahead. This will be reviewed one week before the date of the meeting.

Consultancy Meetings Overview: 

  • These 1.5 hour meetings are to support schools to develop whole school approaches prioritising good mental health, relationships and quality of life in students and staff. Attendees will work collaboratively with experienced educational consultants to support implementation.
  • Between 2-4 school staff should attend the consultancy meetings; these will take place termly between Summer 2024 - Spring 2025 and the same staff need to attend all three meetings.
  • At least one attendee needs to have a solid understanding of practice across the school community and have the ability to implement change at a whole school level. This person should have either attended the 2-day SLT training, or be attending the 11-day Diploma. In addition, at least one attendee should be working with young people on an individual/small group level and should be attending the 11-day Diploma. 
  • During the meeting, school staff will use key TISUK documentation to reflect on current practice and plan strategically regarding priorities. At the end of each meeting, schools will be provided with a short, school specific report highlighting strengths, areas for development and any other agreed actions.
  • All meetings will take place online via Zoom. Dates and time slots for the Summer term can be booked via Eventbrite; please select ONE time slot per school. The Zoom link will be sent directly from TISUK the week before the meeting along with any supporting documents.
