Senior Trainer

• Former Headteacher of a specialist school for Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
• Over 20 years of experience as a qualified teacher in supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health
• Independent freelance consultant delivering training and support to schools, teachers and education professionals in relation to trauma responsive practice.
• Lead consultant for several Violence Reduction Unit projects supporting schools and colleges to recognise and address the link between school exclusions and youth violence.
• Post-graduate study in special education, educational psychotherapy and school leadership. 

Siobhán believes passionately in the power of empathic, attuned, caring relationships to transform the lives of children who are suffering because of painful life experiences and childhood adversity. She is keen to spread her knowledge, expertise and experience as a school leader and foster carer, to support schools to embrace what matters and what works for children on the margins. She offers real-life strategies from her own experience and evidenced based practice to make a difference in the lives of children. 

Siobhán is a Senior Trainer for TISUK, delivering the Diploma in Trauma Informed and Mentally Healthy Schools, Senior Lead Training, Senior Mental Health Lead training, and Whole School Training to schools and other professionals working with children across England, Ireland, and Wales.
